My Story & Expertise

From architectural practice to circular research — a journey shaped by a sustainability mission.

From Practice to Purpose

I began my career in architectural practice, working for 15 years on healthcare, residential care, and industrial projects in France. This gave me a grounded understanding of how buildings are designed, delivered, and managed in real-world conditions.

After this, I expanded my perspective through a Master's in Business Management in France and the UK. My dissertation explored the use of BIM for deconstruction and lifecycle asset management, laying an early foundation for my later work on circular economy in the built environment.

Building Research and Impact

I later completed a PhD at Coventry University focused on BIM-based frameworks for integrating circular economy principles across the asset lifecycle. Since then, I have developed research at the intersection of architecture, sustainability, material flows, and digital methods.

My work now extends beyond academic research into advisory, teaching, public writing, and invited speaking. It spans both the construction sector and the renewable energy sector, with particular interests in circular construction, material reuse, earth construction, and solar PV sustainability.

What Grounds My Work

My approach is grounded in both practice and research. I combine architectural knowledge with systems thinking, evidence-based analysis, and a strong focus on implementation.

Whether working on circular construction, digital tools, earth materials, or solar PV sustainability, my aim is to support practitioners and policymakers in shaping a more regenerative, resilient, and circular built environment.
